We do this through a mix of delivery teams, operations functions, and corporate shared services like Architecture, End-to-End Test and Security.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Engineering, to lead Test Architecture in the definition and execution of test strategies, frameworks, and best practices for validating mobile back-office platforms and capabilities. This role emphasizes shift-left quality, test automation at scale, and alignment with product and system architecture to ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions. The Sr. Manager will partner with cross-functional leaders, guide a team of test architects, and drive innovation in testing approaches to accelerate delivery while improving product reliability.

BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

  • Lead and mentor a team of Test Architects, including coaching, performance reviews, and career growth.
  • Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and innovation in test architecture.
  • Define and evolve the enterprise test architecture strategy, frameworks, tools, and standards.
  • Establish best practices for test automation, performance, and non-functional testing across the organization.
  • Partner with business, engineering, and architecture teams to ensure solutions are designed with quality and testability in mind.
  • Collaborate with portfolio and functional testing teams to align testing strategy with release planning.
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure requirements are validated early and quality risks are mitigated.
  • Partner with testing teams through the test execution and offer subject matter expertise to the testing teams
  • Drive shift-left testing by embedding automation and test strategy in the development lifecycle.
  • Create and track quality metrics and KPIs to measure effectiveness of test solutions.
  • Ensure test approaches support microservices, APIs, cloud, and distributed systems.
  • Introduce innovative solutions to improve speed and scalability.
  • Identify potential risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate as needed.
  • Optimize testing efficiency, ensuring faster delivery without compromising reliability.


What You'll Bring to Spectrum

Required Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Design/HCI or related field, or equivalent real-world experience


Experience
  • 5+ years of UX/UI or product design management experience
  • Experience with designing high-fidelity prototypes
  • Experience with research-driven, iterative product design

Skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
  • Ability to supervise, manage, motivate, and train cross-functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Effective business acumen and sense of urgency to achieve business results
  • Ability to demonstrate UX/UI design management skills via resume and portfolio
  • Ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage product design work
  • Understanding of development processes
  • Effective presentation and communication skills, and the ability to "sell" ideas to various audiences, technical and non-technical

The base pay for this position generally is between $100,600.00 and $178,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
