The Sr HR Tech Consultant position provides support for the development and maintenance of various technology applications and reporting/analytics projects by gathering requirements, conducting analysis and working with internal and external customers. This role will provide enterprise system subject matter expertise, analytical support and recommendations to key stakeholders in the areas of recruiting and onboarding. In addition, this position will be responsible for leveraging HR system resources (e.g. iCIMS, Oracle HCM, Oracle FAW, etc.) in support of recruiting and onboarding processing, automation and associated reporting and analytics. The Sr HR Tech Consultant will use broad expertise to support technical projects, automate processes and API based integration initiatives for our customer base.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience through system automation and process improvement
  • Create standard functional specifications for production support development and act as a testing lead for production support maintenance request and issues that arise
  • Create test scripts for execution during unit testing and system integration testing that are based on the functional specifications for change requests as well as small, medium and large projects
  • Serve as a HR Technology Subject Matter Expert providing knowledge regarding various technology applications including, but not limited to the iCIMs recruiting and onboarding platform
  • Serve as the HR Technology subject matter expert regarding the various technology applications that connect to and integrate with the iCIMs platform including and not limited to: HireRight, E&Y, eScreen, Avature, Beamery, Radancy, Charter custom API workflow automation, Oracle HCM and HireVue (ModernHire)
  • Monitor, maintain and audit iCIMs inbound and outbound integrations and custom API workflow processing including authoring/maintaining mapping documents, audit reports and associated procedures
  • Participate in and support vendor to vendor troubleshooting and break-fix development of vendor integrations
  • Support systematic upgrade efforts for custom iCIMS automation API scripts to include design, configuration, testing and implementation in close partnership with a python code developer
  • Create queries, dashboards and automated reporting solutions using iCIMS and other reporting applications such as SQL, Excel, Access, Oracle FAW and Tableau
  • Consult with customers to identify recruiting and onboarding reporting requirements and address business data needs; construct ad hoc or recurring reports and scorecards, partnering with the Human Resources Technology team to develop ongoing system-based solutions
  • Responsible for leading iCIMS on and off-cycle releases with testing and business communications and training documentation
  • Document and deliver systems-related training to various levels of the organization, including peers
  • Serve as an escalation point for advanced system/technology issues to determine root cause analysis, identify and implement potential solutions
  • Work with cross-functional teams in a matrix department environment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of reporting tools such as SQL, PS Query, advanced Excel skills, Tableau
  • Experience creating simple to complex queries using tools like SQL, iCIMS or PeopleSoft Query
  • Knowledge of scripting/development tools such as SQL, JSON, VBA, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, Python
  • API experience and understanding
  • Knowledge of a wide range of HRIS systems crossing multiple functional areas
  • Ability to adhere to established processing timeframes and make decisions independently
  • Experience in continuous process improvement, including technology upgrades and implementation
  • Proven analytical capacity and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interact, partner and influence staff in various levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and orientation to detail
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation
  • Strategic thinking skills with demonstrated experience developing and implementing solutions to issues
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with shifting priorities
  • Ability to anticipate problems, respond accordingly, and work independently
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Visio, SharePoint and PowerPoint

Required Education
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent related work experience

Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Experience working in a HR technology or analytical role - 7-10 years

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Prior experience with API's and vendor-to-vendor system integrations in a large-scale enterprise environment, iCIMS data tables, and knowledge of python-based automation solutions is strongly preferred
