Senior Warehouse Technician

As a Senior Warehouse Technician at Spectrum, you will play a vital role in maintaining secure inventory, supporting shipping and receiving, and ensuring assets are managed with accuracy. Your commitment will help keep our operations running smoothly and make a direct impact on our customers' experience.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Operate material handling equipment to load and unload pallets, cartons and daily operational materials
  • Receive and validate inventory against shipping documents while updating Spectrum inventory systems to ensure accuracy
  • Stock, store and secure all inventory in designated locations, communicating shortages or damages to management
  • Process orders, returns and material stock requests using Spectrum's inventory and billing systems
  • Coordinate deliveries to retail stores, off-site warehouses and other Spectrum locations as needed
  • Lead and participate in daily, monthly and annual inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies and recommending improvements
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse environment while providing excellent internal and external customer service

Required Qualifications

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a warehouse environment

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to communicate effectively and prioritize workloads
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to operate and maintain certification for material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation
  • Ability to operate company vehicles measuring 24 feet or greater in length
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and bar coding equipment
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, methods and procedures
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record meeting Spectrum and State DOT standards
  • Ability to bend/squat/kneel
  • Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push and pull up to 80 lbs
  • Ability to safely use weight-bearing equipment (such as safety harness and ladders) within the maximum weight limitations of that equipment


Preferred Qualifications

Experience
  • Experience with cable products and services
  • 6+ months as a Warehouse Technician with acceptable performance reviews and no current disciplinary actions
