CO Salary Range: USD 98,900.00 - 175,300.00 per year

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing guidance and direction to the Network Engineering team on day-to-day activities regarding monitoring the network, installation sites, trouble isolation and repair of identified and reported problems. Responsible for the hiring, training, development, and performance management of staff.

  • Actively and consistently supporting all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Developing a disciplined, detailed and structured team to drive a high performance culture and environment.
  • Must be able to work the following shift: Monday through Friday from 3PM - 12AM
  • Providing engineering support and direction for new or existing technologies and current operational initiatives.
  • Working with staff to ensure that individual team metrics and goals are being met.
  • Ensuring required reports are timely, accurate and complete.
  • Providing technical guidance and assistance as required for problem resolution.
  • Overseeing the daily activities of Network Services and performing direct supervision of team members, including performance reviews, career development, and staffing.
  • Adhering to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable.
  • Knowing, understanding and following company policy.
  • Establishing positive employee relations through effective communication and ongoing support.
  • Performing other duties as requested by manager.

Required Qualifications

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner

  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN design and operations
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and SNMP
  • Knowledge of HFC networks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or related work experience

Related Work Experience - Number Of Years

  • Management experience in a 24/7 operations center (3 years)
  • Network Operations and/or Implementation experience (6 years)
  • Project management experience (2 years)

Certifications

  • Industry and vendor specific certifications and training (Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, etc.)
  • Industry and vendor specific certifications and training (NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E)

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Must be able to work the following shift: Monday through Friday from 3PM - 12AM
  • Office environment
  • Varying schedules in a 24 x 7 Network Center
  • Travel as required

The base pay for this position generally is between $98,900.00 and $175,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
