How You'll Make an Impact
- Investigate instances of theft and workplace violations, contributing to a secure and compliant workforce.
- Collaborate with Investigator II on complex cases and provide workplace support for Human Resources, Audit, and Legal teams.
- Conduct on-site security risk assessments, evaluate risks using crime-related data, and present insightful recommendations to business units.
- Represent Corporate Physical Security committees, offering expert guidance on security matters.
- Facilitate engaging security training sessions for employees, aligning with company policies and quality standards.
- Prepare detailed investigative reports for internal and external stakeholders, including Human
- Resources and law enforcement.
Working Conditions
- Flexibility to adjust working hours beyond the regular schedule, sometimes with minimal notice, to meet the demands of the role
What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience
- 5+ years of experience in investigative environments involving research, writing, and analysis
Skills - Take initiative and handle various tasks simultaneously while working efficiently, effectively, and independently under minimal supervision
- Adapt to respond to urgent issues, situational needs, and workload requirements
- Understand the criminal justice system, court proceedings, and private security regulations
- Utilize effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to engage with all levels of people, both inside and outside the company
- Be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail
- Comprehend incident reporting and case management processes
- Know evidence handling and case building for prosecution
- Apply knowledge of interview techniques
- Work within the laws/statutes and employment laws impacting methods used in successful investigations
- Pursue professional development opportunities, including internal and external training and professional association membership, and share information gained with co-workers
- Speak comfortably to large groups to provide security-related training
- 5+ years of experience in investigative environments involving research, writing, and analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Skills
- Knowledge of Federal, state or local regulations relevant to the company, i.e., PCI, CPNI, SOX, HIPAA, and data privacy affecting theft of cable service
- Bilingual
- Education
- PCI, CFE, CPP, or similar certification
