Become a Technical Cloud Service Product Owner at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow.

Engage in the innovative SAP RISE technology to transform our landscape and operations. Collaborate with our partner-managed cloud providers to ensure seamless connectivity across all aspects of the SCE SAP environment, key non-SAP environments, and BTP. Together with our partners, manage the migration from on-premises to cloud systems. This initiative offers the opportunity for input and management of critical decisions for the S/4 implementation project, focusing on architecture and infrastructure as it relates to SAP RISE. Partner with key stakeholders, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, and SAP project teams, to achieve our goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manages activities of one or more large, mid to long-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes
  • Develops business plans, objectives and initiatives for the organization
  • Provides inputs to organizational objectives and policies and ensures delivery of results
  • Engages regularly with senior management as a key consultant on critical business issues
  • Directs complex Agile release train planning, synchronization, and delivery across products and portfolios
  • Oversees data and platform migrations between legacy and next-gen systems with minimal business disruption
  • Facilitates the design and integration of robust continuous improvement/development (CI/CD) pipelines for enterprise-scale test automation and rapid release cycles
  • Leads large-scale Agile teams through full software development lifecycles from inception to deprecation
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ten or more years of experience in IT project management.
  • Experience managing activities of one or more large, mid to long-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes.
  • Experience with IT Program Management or large enterprise projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency as the technical owner in managing and implementing cloud services and applications, particularly RISE with SAP.
  • Extensive experience in IT project management, including quality assurance, metrics control, and managing project timelines.
  • Strong ability to engage and manage relationships with vendors and stakeholders with multiple vendors and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.
  • Understanding of utility industry processes and regulations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Additional Information

  • This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.\u202f Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.\u202f Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
