This role will focus on data analysis, compliance monitoring, and process optimization within the Credit and Collections function. In this position, you will play a key role in identifying trends, analyzing critical data, and providing actionable insights that influence high-level decision-making. You will also support regulatory and non-regulatory initiatives, optimize collection activities, and ensure compliance with key controls including SOX requirements. This is a highly visible role that requires sound judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence outcomes across multiple departments.

Responsibilities
- Participate in capacity planning activities to assess future resource demands; assist in analyzing historical data and growth projections to anticipate resource needs
- Participates in discussions to resolve conflicts related to resource allocation; support stakeholders in negotiating compromises and finding equitable solutions
- Analyze resource utilization data to identify patterns and inefficiencies
- Assist in identifying and managing risks related to resource availability and allocation; assists in the development of contingency plans to address potential resource constraints
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather resource requirements and provide updates on resource allocation; engage stakeholders in resource planning discussions and communicate resource-related decisions
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience performing resource management and/or business planning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in the utility industry, particularly in credit and collections operations.
- Familiarity with Disconnect OIR decisions and regulatory projects related to Credit and Collections.
- Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects for developing, running, and maintaining reports.
- Proven ability to write and optimize queries to retrieve and organize data from various datasets.
- Demonstrated experience in developing recommendations for policy, procedure, and process improvements.
- Demonstrated experience in strong decision-making skills, particularly in analyzing and considering various alternatives for complex business issues.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings, recommendations, and consult with stakeholders.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Additional Information
- This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.\u202f Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.\u202f Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
