Become a Measurement & Evaluation, Senior Advisor \u00a0 at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you\u2019ll\u00a0 your tasks will include leading and providing support to evaluation needs of SCE\u2019s programs, including Energy Efficiency (EE), Demand Response (DR), Income Qualified (IQP), and Building Electrification (BE). The Measurement & Evaluation (M&E) Senior Advisor will conduct, lead, and guide various evaluation related activities to design, conduct, and manage studies, perform statistical analyses, interpret results, and synthesize findings into business insights to integrate into appropriate SCE programs. This is an important role in helping SCE deliver cost-effective programs, products, and services for our customers and meet California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) compliance requirements.

The Evaluation, Measurement, and Verification (EM&V) Team supports SCE\u2019s Demand Side Management (DSM) portfolio and manages technology assessment programs; provides technical support, analysis, and quality control for SCE\u2019s DSM program portfolio.

The M&E Senior Advisor will report to the Sr. Manager of EM&V team, while providing necessary operational and strategic support to the EM&V team. The M&E Senior Advisor will work on leading impact evaluation studies, vendors, and contracts, assessing the evaluability of innovative programs, and providing input on statistical methodologies such as experimental and pilot design, sampling, regression, and market segmentation. The M&E Senior Advisor\u2019s subject matter expertise and leadership in program evaluation function is critical to SCE\u2018s role as a program administrator for DSM programs delivered to its customers through third parties and other solution providers. The M&ESenior Advisor is expected to help define new processes, standards or operational approaches to evaluation based on business strategy in close collaboration with program and CPUC staff.

The M&E Senior Advisor will also take the lead directing resources, including external consultants, towards tasks necessary for timely and high-quality execution of evaluation studies and research. This position will also be responsible for making decisions on the scope of work, especially from a strategic point of view, considering the impact on SCE programs and our customers.

Responsibilities
- Drives multiple ongoing energy efficiency program evaluations, including process, impact, attribution and market research studies
- Executes the most complex energy efficiency studies, including several process evaluations, billing analysis and custom impact evaluation
- Collaborates with stakeholders, vendors and internal partners to design evaluations, plan programs, and forecast savings, costs and benefits
- Runs market assessment studies that are designed to inform the development of future energy efficiency program efforts
- Executes the cost-effectiveness analyses of programs and energy-saving measures
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with key stakeholders in order to share best practice provide technical advice and build bases of influence
- Supports in design and methodologies for evaluation studies
- Manages the tracking and reporting of energy savings for Lighting, Non-Energy Impacts, and other Energy Efficiency programs
- Carries out the analysis of program results and researched opportunities to enhance operations
- Delivers regulatory filings and responds to data requests
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ten or more years of experience in demand-side management, evaluation, forecasting and/or economic analyses.
- Experience coordinating the work of team members or 3rd party vendor/consultants.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor\u2019s degree or higher in statistics, economics, quantitative psychology, engineering, or related field.
- Advanced level of understanding of public policy, market research, or utility DSM programs
- Three or more years of experience working in California\u2019s public utilities and regulatory environments.
- Five or more years of experience with managing scope, schedule, and budgets.

Additional Information
- This position\u2019s work mode is\u00a0hybrid.\u00a0The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.\u202f Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.\u202f Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
