Become a Material Operations Senior Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you\u2019ll be analyzing Overhead and Underground distribution work orders and applying the appropriate unit price task codes leading to the timely creation of pre-requisitions and purchase orders. This includes building strong relationships and collaborating with distribution line construction vendors. You will be responsible for the compliant performance at CPS and CSSA material yards, per SCE Yard Management policies and procedures. This will include monthly inspections and reporting to the Authorized Edison representative. In addition, per Regional Construction Manager request, special projects will be assigned utilizing Microsoft Office products and other SCE platforms.

Responsibilities
- Prepares reports related to material performance, levels, inventory analysis, supply and demand in preparation for internal supply chain, business unit and vendor review meetings
- Provides input to inventory and material handling process improvements
- Conducts internal material inventory check of warehouses for emergent and regular projects
- Ensures proper maintenance of equipment to facilitate the delivery and removal of materials efficiently
- Collaborates effectively and closely with key stakeholders and vendors to successfully meet shifting needs
- Schedules and coordinates material shipments with carriers and other external partners for arranging shipments
- Evaluates costs and supply chain impacts to provide data-driven recommendations
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience supporting inventory management, logistics and/or supply chain management.
- Posses a valid Class C Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications
\u00a0
- Two years of experience as a Qualified Electrical Worker with line construction experience.
- Five years of experience with SCE\u2019s overhead and underground work order maps.\u00a0
- Three years of experience in SAP, CLICK Schedule, or Supplier Portal.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

- This position\u2019s work mode is\u00a0hybrid.\u00a0The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.\u202f Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and\u00a0reside in the state of California.\u202f Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.\u00a0The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
