Become a Foodservice Technology Senior Specialist \u00a0 at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will
perform technical evaluations of energy-efficient commercial foodservice equipment at our Foodservice Technology Center demonstration kitchen laboratory. \u00a0Additionally, you will deliver foodservice equipment technical education and training, assist customers in obtaining rebates and incentives for high-efficiency equipment, coordinate equipment demonstrations showcasing the latest technologies, and provide energy efficiency recommendations for foodservice existing locations, renovations, and new sites.

Responsibilities
- Provides full-time technical support to the operations and business unit staff
- Aids in managing subcontractors' schedules for fielding and design deliverables, providing vendor liaison support and maintaining third party relationships
- Establishes, documents, and maintains procedures and guidelines related to the day-to-day operational support provided to the operations and business unit staff
- Maintains tracking for long-term performance evaluations and ensures adherence to baseline requirements
- Documents field trips and product analysis to enable continuous improvement of troubleshooting procedures, product installations, and product robustness
- Presents project status updates to senior managers during weekly progress meetings
- Helps develop the scopes of work required by pole owners and power utilities for design and pole loading analysis
- Resolves incidents and problems and provides support to the monitoring and reporting of the supported systems performance, collaborating with teams in an Agile environment to deliver project goals and solutions
- Validates and maintains reference information, documentation and data bases in order to effectively evaluate, design and engineer complex work requests
- Performs in-depth analysis, develops recommendations, and may provide consulting to address customer and/or Company problems/issues which cross organizational boundaries and require thorough technical knowledge to resolve
- Leads team or participate as a team member during implementation of specialized technical projects
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in technical support.
- Posses a valid Class C Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with laboratory testing environments
- Experience utilizing and developing test procedures (ASHRAE, ASTM)
- Experience with foodservice industry and food safety procedures
- Familiarity with electrical safety and experienced in disassembling, troubleshooting, and repairing foodservice equipment
- Experience with delivering technical and energy efficiency instruction
- Strong problem solving and data analysis capabilities\u00a0
- Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs
- Familiar with operating a forklift

Additional Information \u00a0
- This position\u2019s work mode is\u00a0on-site. The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location.\u00a0 Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
