In this job, you\u2019ll perform various functions and tasks related to valuation studies and analysis, regulatory cost recovery filings, and corporate planning and forecasting within SCE\u2019s Financial Planning & Analysis organization. Responsibilities
- Performs financial analysis and reporting to support departments, working across Finance teams as required
- Assists in developing documents to support regulatory filings to ensure compliance
- Assists in maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of financial databases
- Aids in the creation of written financial reports that comply with relevant standards and procedures
- Assists the delivery of analyses, and creates presentations that provide actionable insights and recommendations based on analysis of available data
- Assists and maintains records of key documentation for further financial analysis and auditing purposes
- Develops utility-specific finance knowledge and keeps knowledge up to date on emerging trends and changes in financial analysis principles and practices
- Supports the identification of financial risks through regular assessment and diligent execution of controls and mitigations, proactively raising any concerns
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in financial analysis, planning, modeling and/or forecasting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, or other quantitative field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
- Experience in creating and delivering presentations using tools like Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience with SQL for database querying and/or VBA for Excel Automation.

Additional Information
- This position\u2019s work mode is\u00a0hybrid.\u00a0The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.\u202f Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.\u202f Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
