A Business Analyst to join our team! As the Business Analyst (BA) you will review, analyze, design, and support implementation of enterprise-wide projects, processes, and program changes that support organizational goals and follow project management best practices. As a Business Analysts you will participate in and at times lead cross-functional project teams through successful implementation of new systems and system changes from project inception to close. In this role you will collaborate with many areas of the organization to discover impacts, define scope, gather requirements determine objectives and success criteria, help select solutions that fulfill business and technology requirements.

As a Business Analyst you will...

  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand, define, and document end-user and business requirements for new and existing processes, systems and solution; develop use cases; translate business requirements into technology project specifications and use the established requirements and use cases to drive requests for information and requests for proposals and product design and selection. Support the delivery of solutions that meet project objectives and business requirements as defined by stakeholders and users. Develop and leading testing for projects and follow Sound's testing methodology.
  • Manage vendor evaluation, vendor selection and 3rd parties; responsible for vendor due diligence as related to projects. Create and adhere to project budget.
  • Document as-is processes and help design to-be processes as part of the initial analysis when scoping out projects. Optimize and transform business processes and enterprise-wide programs. Lead internal teams through process review; develop and document a holistic view of programs and processes with global process maps for the current state and desired state; create lean procedures and processes that work well for end users, product owners and product managers.
  • Identify and define the purpose and scope of new projects. Develop Objectives and Key Results (OKR's) to understand, define and measure the success criteria of the new or modified change.
  • Identify and assess impacts to personnel, systems, or processes and address these throughout the project. Identify risks to projects and plan mitigations.
  • Develop flexible implementation plans to allow for prototyping and incremental improvements.
  • Work with escalation resources including vendors to resolve issues or bugs that arise during implementation and user acceptance testing. Create test scripts and guide users through User Acceptance Testing for any new systems or modifications being implemented.
  • Facilitate communication amongst project teams and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
  • Provide mentorship and cross-functional training to support staff as new products and systems become operationalized. Help transition new systems to System Administrators or Business System Analysts.
  • Engage stakeholders at all levels to adopt product, process, or program changes. Communicate changes to all levels of the organization; as changes are completed, lead the transition of ownership and ongoing support from project team to product/process managers.
  • Partner with Training and Development staff and other key stakeholders to develop and provide Develop and deliver training to staff in conjunction with the Human Resources department on new systems and enhancements to existing systems.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will bring to the team...

  • Three or more years of experience in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role required, preferably in a financial institution.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Business Analyst Certification (CBAP or CCBA), desired.

Your compensation:

At Sound Credit Union we believe in paying our employees a fair and living wage. Individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate's prior experience and education level as it pertains to their role. This strategy promotes a talented and empowering work environment that we hope you will be a part of! Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates, which allows us to offer merit-based salary increases.

Minimum: $76,000
Midpoint: $95,000
Maximum: $114,000

Your hours:

A hybrid schedule Monday - Friday: 8 am - 5 pm

In your role you will have the ability to combine in-person and remote work.
