THE ROLE

Responsible for timely and accurate post sale service tasks and the provision of high-quality client service, predominately via email/telephone.

RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Primary focus will be on generating the twice daily reports for both New York and London that facilitate the issuance of available shipping quotes to clients. This is integral to providing a timely and efficient client experience.
  • Review the daily ship list, to ensure that all property is available for collection the following day
  • Supporting the triaging of New York Freshdesk tickets where appropriate or providing replies in accordance with SLAs (with potential ad hoc support provided to other locations dependent on activity).

Additional tasks may also include supporting Post-Sales tasks by assisting with day-to-day activities within the team. This includes though is not exhaustive:

  • Manage and resolve client queries, complaints and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Answering client phone calls in a professional and timely manner and triaging where appropriate.
  • Document management
  • Generating payment links where required
  • Assisting in the arrangement of client collections by coordinating with all relevant parties and providing lot location information to clients.
  • Escalating of Freshdesk tickets to relevant departments
  • Work in Collaboration with Shipping, Client Accounts Receivable Managers and Financial Team

IDEAL EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

  • Calm demeanour, especially under pressure
  • Well presented with a friendly, enthusiastic and welcoming disposition
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional Client Service skills
  • A second European language is desirable
  • Good numeracy skills. 
  • Logical and practical thinking, with excellent resourcefulness and problem solving skills
  • Highest standard of confidentiality, discretion and work ethic
  • Ability to work both independently and to partner with colleagues
  • Strong organisational skills and follow through
  • Prior experience with SAP is preferable
