Sotheby’s, Inc. seeks a Staff Product Designer to define design strategy and goals for the Client Experience group, including website, mobile applications, and other internal products. Develop hypotheses, build wireframes, test designs, and conduct user research. Manage design timelines, gather feedback, and iterate designs. Provide guidance to design team across multiple priorities while working with product managers and developers to ensure on-time delivery. Map user journeys to identify gaps and suboptimal designs. Lead product teams and provide deliverables through the entire UX/UI design lifecycle, including research, design, testing, and delivery. Create personas, user journeys, and scenarios. Develop and implement proprietary design systems tailored to support digital auction and sales platforms. #LI-DNI

Position requires a Master’s degree in Design Studies, Industrial Design, or a related field, and 3 years of experience with user-centered design processes and methodologies. Experience must include at minimum: 3 years of experience with creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and journey maps; 3 years of experience with Interaction Design (IxD) to craft interactive user experiences; 3 years of experience with Information Architecture (IA), components design, and accessibility standards; 3 years of experience with designing mobile-native applications for iOS and Android, with a focus on optimizing for performance, accessibility, and device-specific considerations; 3 years of experience with development of graphical concepts and future vision prototypes; 3 years of experience with creating and testing design prototypes (including both low- and high-fidelity); and 3 years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Axure, Mural, Miro, and Lottie. Must have NN/g and SAFe certifications. Telecommuting benefit available. Up to 10% domestic travel is required.
