Electric Supply Center/NorthEast Electrical is seeking a Full-time, Receiving Supervisor to join our team in Woburn, MA!

Hours: Monday-Friday 1st Shift

Receiving Supervisors are responsible for overseeing the activities of ESC receiving department. They ensure that all incoming goods are properly inspected and stored.

General Responsibilities

  • Train staff to handle, sort, and maintain stock
  • Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures
  • Prepare work schedules and determine procedures
  • Assign duties and assess work for accuracy
  • Respond to quality issues with associates
  • Reviewing reports on inventory levels to ensure that the inventory amount will fulfill the warehouse needs
  • Communicate with vendors about the order status and problems with shipments
  • Coordinate vendor returns
  • Ensuring that shipments are received in a timely manner
  • Provide quality assurance for all products

Supervisory Responsibilities

Interviewing and hiring applicants, ensuring that their qualifications and skills are compatible with the company

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a distribution environment. At least one year of supervisory experience required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of fundamentals of distribution management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid Forklift certification
  • Valid driver's license
