The Marketing Specialist is responsible for working with QED's marketing leadership to help coordinate and develop marketing campaigns, multi-channel content and creative elements, focused-vendor marketing programs, and deliverables for regional branch marketing initiatives. The Marketing Specialist will also contribute to brand and digital user experience enhancements, from concept to testing through execution. This position will play a key role in helping drive day-to-day activities relating to QED's marketing and digital programs and overall business success.
What you'll do:
- Graphic Design and User Experience - create visual concepts that engage both customers and internal stakeholders to create understanding, enhance the user experience, and/or inspire action. These may include video, photography, executive presentations, qedelectric.com pages, and various print elements.
- Campaign Development and Coordination - Develop creative themes and tools for integrated marketing campaigns that inspire customer action and drive growth. Organize campaign elements, establish key dates, communicate details to sales team and internal stakeholders, and track and manage progress and results.
- Content Development - Work with marketing leadership, subject matter experts, and vendor partners to develop and maintain engaging multi-channel content-both written and visual.
- Brand Management- Coordinate with the marketing leadership to ensure brand consistency across touchpoints and channels.
- Email Marketing - develop engaging email marketing for our customers
- Website - build out captivating landing pages on our internal and external websites
- Assist with development of marketing programs for focused vendors and support branch and customer events, tradeshows, training, etc.
- Help drive the organization's digital transformation and growth goals through daily activities.
What you'll bring:
- Understanding of marketing principles and practices.
- Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
- Ability to develop unique concepts that convey value proposition.
- Ability to take initiative and direct a project from start to finish
- Proven track record and understanding of website management and successful email marketing, Marketo platform preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to analyze data and draw sound conclusions
- Detail-oriented with strong project and time management skills
- Good problem solver
- Exceptional listening skills
- Strong presentation, writing, and editing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Starting salary range: $65,000 -$75,000
Education
Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Marketing, Communications, or Graphic Design and/or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
