Lead Maintenance and Repair Technician - Life Safety Services
Codale Electric Supply is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lead Maintenance and Repair Technician to support and enhance our Life Safety Services operations. This role is essential in delivering a customer-centric experience by ensuring the smooth execution, maintenance, and development of services across our warehouse and vendor-managed inventory (VMI) programs.

What You'll Do:
- Supervise and maintain service inventory including carts, clams, and wire reels.
- Manage check-in/check-out processes and ensure proper storage and cleanliness.
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of Pro-Logistics (Stage & Store) items.
- Assist in the setup and removal of VMI accounts.
- Help manage and monitor VMI stock levels and replenishment.
- Serve as a point of contact for VMI-related inquiries.
- Learn and maintain proficiency in pipe bending and threading for client projects.
- Train and support staff in performing these services.
- Ensure necessary panels and equipment are delivered to machine operators.
- Collaborate with operators to maintain machinery and tools.
- Supervise department employees and provide daily direction.
- Act as a backup driver when needed.
- Support the Services Manager in developing and improving service offerings.
- Be available to answer internal and external service-related questions.
What You'll Bring:
- Electrical field experience (Electrician, Electrical Engineering, or related)
- Experience in warehouses or distribution environments
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using technology and tools related to inventory and service management
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Warehouse environment with frequent standing and walking
- Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs
- Standard 40-hour work week (Monday-Friday); occasional evenings and weekends based on business needs
- Requires punctual, regular, and reliable on-site attendance
- Reimbursement for steel-toe shoes up to $150
