Inventory Control Specialist

Location: Addison, IL

Job type: Full time

Schedule: 8:00am start time Monday-Friday

Hourly pay: $25.50 - $28.50/hr

**Compensation for this position includes hourly salary, short-term incentive bonus, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role.

What You'll Do

You will...

  • Conduct daily cycle counting, reconciliation of inventory shortages found during picking
  • Process receipts of non-stock material to include cross docking and/or create new bin locations for new stock.
  • Coordinate weekly bin maintenance mechanics, communicating the results and concerns to shift managers.
  • Assist in reconciliation of annual physical inventory variances.
  • Update inventory file system through exception reports and research to make necessary corrections to system.
  • Work independently to load, unload, and move materials within or near work site.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, hand trucks or dollies.

What You Bring

Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly, or up to 75 lbs. with the assistance of supportive equipment or team members
  • Ability to stand and walk for much of your shift
  • Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)
  • Previous distribution or warehouse operations, cycle counting, inventory reconciliation preferred.
  • Ability to work within multiple computer software at one time, comfortable navigating and searching Microsoft Excel.
  • Willingness to learn how to operate equipment like a forklift and handheld scanning device (we provide training)
  • Ability to work in various temperatures within our warehouse
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
