The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Technical Engineer on the Clinician Productivity Solutions (CPS) implementation team, you will be responsible for the oversight of technical implementation of Fluency Direct considering the unique needs of Solventum's diverse customer base. Fluency Direct is Solventum's top-ranking front-end speech recognition and closed-loop documentation solution. Fluency Direct can be deployed in a variety of environments including on physical workstations, thin clients and virtual desktops. As a Technical Engineer, you will be expected to have a deep practical understanding of Solventum products as well as virtualization technologies. You will also be responsible for being a technical expert and working with customers to determine what settings must be applied for their unique needs. In your role as a Technical Engineer, you will be expected to work closely with Product Management, Solution Advisors, Development, Support and Sales to assist customers’ pre and post-sale needs.

As a Technical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Implementing multiple Clinician Productivity Solutions products while collaborating with customer resources and internal team members from Implementation and Solution Training, Solution Advisors, Support, Development, and Product Management teams
  • Supporting and leading customers during installations, testing, and go lives
  • Participating in relevant corporate programs/initiatives
  • Ensuring professional, quality and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties
  • Complying with corporate policies and procedures while acting in a manner consistent with Solventum’ s values and ethical standards

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND (4) four years related to Health Information technology support in a private, public, government or military environment

OR

High School Diploma/GED AND (8) eight years related to Health Information Technology support in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience with design, configuration and implementation of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
  • Experience with design, configuration and implementation of VMware Horizon VDI and RDSH.
  • Strong understanding of Windows 2016, 2019 R2 and 2022.
  • Experience with thin client devices. i.e. iGel, Wyse and Teradici.
  • Experience with Installing, configuring, and testing speech and CAPD solutions in clinical environments (EHR systems, mobile platforms, etc.).
  • Provide hands-on technical support during pre-implementation, go-live, and post-go-live phases.
  • Excellent client facing and internal communication skills using written and spoken English.
  • Experience using collaboration tools to manage and communicate with remote teams.
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical problem solving and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Solventum HIS products.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain a positive attitude in a team environment.

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $106,331 - $129,960, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
