Farmshop Bicester
The Farmshop is a 240-cover restaurant in Bicester Village. Open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. The menu focuses on rustic British food from old fashioned classics to hearty farmhouse fare. Paying respect to the Oxford countryside, the décor has cobblestone floors, barn doors and exposed beams. There’s also an outdoor terrace seating and two private dining spaces.
The Role…
We are seeking an experienced Senior Chef De Partie, to join our team at Farmshop Bicester (OX26 6WD). Your main responsibility is to ensure that the food we deliver to our members it of the highest quality. This includes preparing food before service, setting up and stocking kitchen stations and plating to company standards
What we are looking for in a Senior Chef De Partie...
- 1-2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile kitchen in a similar senior role
- Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- Sense of urgency
- Yes, yes, yes mentality
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Have a genuine passion for food and beverage
- Flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when required
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by hand
- Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
- Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
Expected working hours for a Senior Chef De Partie:
- Varying shift times across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens & closes
- Average hours 32-45 hours per week
Transport: 9 min walk from Bicester Town Centre, local train stations - Bicester North & Bicester Village (direct from Oxford & Banbury)
