Exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and organized individual who has a passion for creating structure and systems to streamline the business operations. There is a full-time position available in our Soho Home studio. As a team member you will be committed to providing professional service and maintaining outstanding product knowledge.
Main Duties…
Operations Responsibilities:
- Order and keep up to date log of Décor and Textiles stock for studio displays and Selling stock.
- Update Ex Display document.
- Update Ex Display Returns document seasonally.
- Maintain daily stockroom standards and organization.
- Order and organize biweekly replenishment.
- Check in shipment and backstock in appropriate location.
- Update Display - UK/US document.
- Update and organize Customer Wishlist document.
- Update and organize LA /NJ Warehouse Ex-Display document.
- Update and organize Items to Sell (backstock) document.
- Update and organize Studio Display OOS document.
- Organize and ship all swatch orders.
- Order monthly swatches.
- Monthly stock take.

Visual Merchandising Responsibilities:
- Manage weekly studio updates through logging imagery and reviewing any feedback with SVMM.
- All VM responsibilities to be signed off with SVMM.
- Always maintain a high visual standard throughout the Melrose studio, following the VM guidelines set by the SVMM.
- Communicate and coach clear visual merchandising guidelines for the studio teams to support and maintain displays.
- Work alongside studio SVMM and GM, to review OOS stock and availability on a weekly basis for changes and replenishment.
- Implement the delivery of mid-season changes in line with stock reviews.
- Support and oversee all in store POS materials for key promotional activities throughout the year - sale, mid-season promotions, etc.
Requirements...
- Have a proven experience in a similar role within a luxury retail store.
- Be able to deliver a high level of customer service.
- Communicate honestly, openly and constructively.
- Have a creative flair and be able to talk about colors, styles and trends in interiors with confidence.
- Demonstrate flexibility and innovation in recognizing and reacting to the changing retail environment.
- Be a strong team member.
- Experience in furniture and lighting is an advantage.
- Proficient in Google Docs, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
- Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
- Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the store to others.
- Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 50 pounds.
- Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
