Handyman - Soho House Amsterdam
As a Handyman you will be taking care of ad-hoc tasks and providing ongoing maintenance support to the building. In this role you will have the possibility to grow and develop to a supervisor role.
- Making sure that all areas and facilities of the house are up to the highest maintenance status
- Performing painting and repairing of walls, furniture, cabinets, windows, locks and keys
- Performing electrical and mechanical repairs
- Performing repairs on fans and air conditioning
- Performing routine plumbing repairs
- Performing carpentry work
- Documenting work accomplished and closely liaising with the Maintenance Manager on projects
- Being aware and observing safety precautions and fire safety procedures and emergency action plans

What we are looking for
- Must have previous experience in maintenance preferably in hotels
- Must have experience in volume and high pressure operations
- You are flexible to work on weekends and evenings
- Ability to consistently maintain positive vendor and employee relationships
- Strong verbal and written communication in English
