The Role…

Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will be leading the Central Finance team based in London on a 12 month, maternity cover contract. The Central Finance team at Soho House looks after a wide range of areas including the Global Head Office, Group companies, Cities Without Houses membership alongside global capex & cashflow for the whole Soho House Group.

This position would be most suitable for candidates who are fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA

  • Leading team of 6, supporting, advising and reviewing their tasks.
  • Cash flow – weekly, monthly and quarterly cash flow reporting and forecasting for Global Soho House Group.
  • Payroll forecasting, reporting and analysis for Global Support Office.
  • Lead on budgeting and forecasting for Global Support, Cities Without Houses and Group companies.
  • Business partnering with the Partnerships team to model the financial impacts of new partnerships. Review of partnerships contracts and applying appropriate revenue and cost accounting.
  • Oversight of the Capital expenditure reporting and forecasting on a Global SH basis
  • Leading & supporting the team to deliver the audit for the Central finance team
  • Support and account for the Soho House Foundations charity

Required Skills

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Commercially focused business partner
  • Excellent people person, a strong and compassionate leader
  • High attention to detail, organised, able to manage own time and workload, demonstrate initiative
  • Team player with hands-on, can-do attitude
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to work through problems logically and with perspective

  • Ability to get the best out of financial systems and demonstrable evidence of process improvement / re-engineering
  • Strong problem solving ability
