Main Duties...

  • Provide outstanding personal training and group training to members and hotel guests.
  • Ensure proper use and handling of class equipment & gym equipment. 
  • Ensure safe practices of members and hotel guests while participating in trainings or classes.
  • Accurately record, schedule, document and submit personal training sessions and group fitness classes.
  • Assist in upholding studio cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation to Soho House standards.
  • Report any defects of studio and class equipment.
  • Sanitize equipment used in classes and sessions.
  • Maintain accurate knowledge of class and session offerings, property amenities, gym services and gym products.
  • Embrace and learn to teach specialty classes only offered at Soho House.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Nationally accredited personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, NFPT, ACSM, NCSF, FM, AFAA, NSCA)
  • 2+ years of experience in both group fitness and personal training.
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Basic verbal communication skills.
  • Flexible schedule and willing to work 8+ hours a week.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
  • Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
  • Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 100 pounds.
  • Demonstrate exercises as required.
