Role Overview
Sodexo InReach is seeking a Vending Manager for our warehouse operation in Fairfield, NJ. The Vending Manager will be directly responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating a staff of 8-9 union route service employees, and 2 administrative assistants. The Vending Manager will be responsible for scheduling routes, managing the warehouse operation to include: inventory controls, food ordering, managing overtime, and ensuring proper fleet maintenance and DOT compliance. InReach has a full range of service lines to address different needs in a variety of spaces. From the lobby to the breakroom, from the ground floor to the top floor, and everywhere in between. What You'll Do
- Manage the warehouse, to include inventory, purchases, and delivery picks
- Oversee routes, to include managing the drivers, schedules, and ensuring accuracy and driver accountability
- Manage asset controls in the tracking system
- Maintain quality and company standards
- Ensure a safe working environment for Sodexo staff

What You Bring
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- An effective communicator and collaborator, with passion for developing talent
- Must be able to demonstrate urgency and problem-solving skills, and a dedication to customer service
- Ability to work with database inventory management software, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Mechanical skills and ability to operate manual and industrial equipment such as a pallet jacks and forklifts
- Prior supervisory experience in VendMAX, telemetry systems & Warehouse/Route Distribution is preferred
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. and able to perform work in outside weather conditions

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in the service industry
