We are seeking a Suites Supervisor for the Hard Rock Stadium operation in Miami Gardens, FL.
Hard Rock Stadium is a global entertainment destination and the home of the Miami Dolphins, University of Miami football, the Orange Bowl, Super Bowl LIV, and the 100th anniversary of the NFL. It also hosts international soccer matches and a wide variety of world-class events. The venue was designed to embrace all that South Florida has to offer while providing unparalleled live experiences.
Principal Function
The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, maintain a positive attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Suites Supervisor is responsible for the overall oversight of all events, including set-up, service, and breakdown.
The top priority of the Suites Supervisor is to ensure every event is successful, upholding Hard Rock Stadium's standards while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities
- Collaborate with suites, warehouse, beverage, and events managers on event-specific operations.
- Communicate clearly with beverage, warehouse, and suites teams to ensure prompt and efficient service.
- Ensure all necessary items and equipment are prepared, transported, cleaned, returned, and stored after each event.
- Work alongside suites attendants on the set-up, service, and breakdown of all event items, including tables, chairs, linens, equipment, food, and beverages.
- Supervise in-house and outsourced staff to ensure high service standards and professional presentation.
- Reinforce service procedures and departmental SOPs to deliver flawless events.
- Move and set up beverage equipment and vendor-related items while maintaining proper safety practices.
- Keep management informed of any emergent issues within the department.
- Assist with inventory, cleaning, and organizing equipment.
- Ensure proper care is taken with all inventory, including glassware, silver, tableware, and linens.
- Perform in multiple roles as needed in food and beverage service.
- Maintain proper stock levels of all suites equipment.
- Follow safe storage, service, and sanitation practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Related field of study or equivalent combination of training and/or experience preferred.
- Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must meet legal requirements to serve alcohol in Miami-Dade County.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in banquets, catering, or special events management preferred.
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience with strong customer service skills required.
- Effective communication, coaching, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills required.
Other Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (e.g., storage bins, equipment).
- Must be able to maneuver in tight or crowded environments.
- Hours are often extended or irregular, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $20-$24 per hour (commensurate with experience).
- Hours: 35-40 hours per week.
