Sodexo Live! - Oncall Shuttle Transportation Driver at Orange County Convention Center

Position Summary:

We're looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Shuttle Transportation Driver to join our Human Resources team at Sodexo Live! In this vital role, you'll be responsible for transporting team members between work locations in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. As the face of our internal transportation service, you'll ensure every ride is safe, smooth, and welcoming.

REQUIRED:

• High school diploma, some college and/or appropriate combination of education and work experience to support on-the-job effectiveness.
• Effective organizational and communication skills.
• Have a valid Driver's License.
• Maintain a driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding and safety -violations.
• Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively.
• Ability to work flexible working schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Safely operate a company shuttle vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws and internal policies.
• Follow established routes and schedules to ensure on-time pick-up and drop-off of employees.
• Provide outstanding customer service-greeting all passengers with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the shuttle vehicle at all times.
• Assist employees with work-related equipment as needed during loading and unloading.
• Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Immediately report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
• Answer employee questions about routes, schedules, and locations.
