Senior Manager, Communications
Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a Sr. Manager of Communications to support a large life sciences client in Rahway, New Jersey.
This individual will be responsible for leading cohesive internal and external communications that strengthen alignment between Sodexo and the client. They will ensure all messaging is clear, timely, and aligned with shared priorities by identifying and developing content that highlights key initiatives, services, and updates. The ideal candidate brings creativity, attention to detail, and strong storytelling skills to produce engaging content such as blogs, newsletters, announcements, and bulletins, while also managing updates across internal platforms. They will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment-balancing day-to-day messaging with critical communications such as emergency alerts and strategic updates. This role is essential in fostering connectivity across teams and delivering a consistent, engaging communications experience.

SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, and Sodexo. What You'll Do
- Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies that align with client and Sodexo priorities, ensuring consistent, clear, and engaging messaging across all channels.
- Create compelling content including blogs, email blasts, newsletters, biweekly updates, monthly bulletins, and leadership messaging to keep teams informed, connected, and inspired.
- Serve as the communications lead for time-sensitive and critical updates-such as emergency announcements, leadership changes, new building openings, and service launches-ensuring all messaging is accurate, timely, and compliant.
- Manage updates and content across internal communication platforms, including weekly news postings, announcements, and internal site maintenance for the client account.
- Identify and capture stories that showcase account highlights, internal networking opportunities, employee milestones, and innovations-translating them into high-impact communications.
- Collaborate closely with both Sodexo and client stakeholders to maintain strong alignment, drive engagement, and support visibility through internal channels and LinkedIn exposure.

What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field-or 5+ years of equivalent experience in a communications or marketing role.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic communications and content across multiple channels, with strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines with precision, creativity, and flexibility.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce CRM, and MS Teams preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally.
- A strategic and creative thinker who brings knowledge of current trends in workplace experience, facilities, and food services to inspire innovative communication approaches.
