In this role, you will:

  • Be the go-to partner for key clients-building trust, driving repeat business, and earning referrals through exceptional service.
  • Lead the way in discovering and closing new business from corporate, social, and group clients.
  • Craft compelling proposals and contracts that reflect your attention to detail and ability to translate ideas into reality.
  • Host tastings, site visits, and pre-event meetings with confidence and polish.
  • Collaborate with chefs, banquet leads, and operations pros to ensure every event runs seamlessly-just the way you
  • Consistently hit (or exceed) your sales goals, because that's what stars like you do.
  • Keep your sales pipeline organized and proactive with accurate CRM tracking and reporting.
  • Represent your property-and your professionalism-at industry events, trade shows, and client functions.
  • Stay ahead of the game by keeping up with market trends, competitor activity, and evolving client needs.
  • Share your expertise by mentoring junior sales team members and elevating those around you.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, hotel/restaurant management, or a related field; or a combination of education and experience that supports success on the job.
  • 5-7 years of catering sales experience, including 3-5 years in a management role.
  • Experience working in a similar venue with food and beverage sales exceeding $5M.
  • Strong financial understanding, including P&L responsibility and/or contract-managed service experience.
  • Good knowledge of food and wine to support menu development.
  • Solid understanding of food and beverage financials, operational procedures, controls, and sales-related functions.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and leadership.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office programs and other technology tools.
  • Experience collaborating across different teams and departments to achieve goals.
  • Able to work well with staff and management at all levels and supports a team-oriented work environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks or projects independently, with a willingness to contribute beyond retail operations.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive in identifying challenges and resolving them in a timely, effective manner.

Other Requirements:

  • Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly quartered environment.
  • Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
