Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager 2 (Hospital Gift Shop) for UMass Memorial Health, located in Worcester, MA. The Retail Manager will oversee the retail operations for two gift shop locations - one at the University campus and the other at the Memorial Campus. In this role, you will report to the Area GM (Food Operations). The Retail Manager works primarily daytime hours, with the flexibility needed for occassional weekend coverage for inventory and other business needs.
Sodexo offers a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. What You'll Do
- have oversight of day-to-day operations for both gift shop retail areas
- deliver high quality customer service
- maintain cleanliness and organization of retail store space
- lead hourly team, mentoring them in accurate cash handling, operations, open and closing processes

What You Bring
- have demonstrated success with retail marketing and an eye for store layout/design
- have retail leadership experience
- has strong understanding of POS systems, cash handling management and computer software
- can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service
