Registered Dietitian - Part Time

Sodexo is seeking a Part Time (20-24 hours/week) Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition care at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, a world renowned facility providing substance abuse treatment services for adults and adolescents. This role will support three treatment centers located in St. Paul, Plymouth, & Center City, MN.

What You'll Do
- provide nutritional care to adolescent and adult patients that aligns with their overall treatment plan;
- conduct monthly patient lectures, facilitate groups, and provide one-on-one patient consultations for a variety of health conditions;
- collaborate with the Clinical Nutrition Manager and food service operations team regarding meal provision and menu management;
- coordinate alternative meal selections for patients with special nutritional needs; and
- perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
