Role Overview
Sodexo Energy & Resource is seeking a Construction Project Manager to work with one of Sodexo's construction management teams at one of our largest energy accounts in Houston, TX. Sodexo Energy & Resource teams deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to diverse locations. From headquarters to offshore rigs, our integrated facilities management, dining and 24/7 hospitality offerings are designed to meet your offshore and onshore service needs.
What You'll Do
- lead or coordinate construction projects, such as developing a new facility, the addition, expansion, or extension of an existing facility, or renovation/alterations to a facility in collaboration with project team, construction site and management
- develop entry level project budgets, make project assignments based on skill sets of contractors & vendors, build entry level project schedules and timetables, and lead project responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project
- organize and direct construction personnel, and ensure that materials and equipment resources are delivered on time

What You Bring
- proven expertise managing complex projects, including MEP systems and active-site renovations, with a strong focus on safety programs, compliance, and coordination among diverse stakeholders
- strong skills in project controls, forecasting, scheduling, and documentation, with hands-on experience using project management and financial systems
- excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a demonstrated ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- advanced computer proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe, Visio, and scheduling/estimating software

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experience in a supervisory capacity within construction
