Sodexo is seeking a Patient Services Manager 2 at Bridgeport Hospital's Milford Campus, a 120-bed community hospital in Milford, CT. This role oversees daily patient meal service operations, leading a team of 15 non-union employees. The site utilizes bedside ordering and recently launched a 24-hour cashless micro-market with grab-and-go and made-to-order options.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in healthcare food service, patient rounding, and direct interaction with patients. This hands-on role requires flexibility and a customer-focused mindset, as it involves supporting both patient dining and a small amount of retail operations. Typical Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with weekend/holiday rotation as needed (must be flexible).

What You'll Do

What You Bring

  • At least 2 years lead food management experience with a focus on patient services and satisfaction;
  • The ability to be creative and innovative;
  • A strong working knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines;
  • A commitment to quality and customer service;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills;
  • Provide direction, guidance, and supervision of patient hospitality to employees at patient care units;
  • Serve as senior and primary representative of patient care activities

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
