Sodexo Energy & Resources is seeking an Operations Manager 1, Multi-Service to join our team in supporting the portfolio of a premier Global Energy producer in Richmond, CA! This Operations Manager will be responsible for leading our soft services operations - janitorial, move/add/change, events, mail services, shipping, receiving, reprographics, operational and financial performance. The idea candidate will have experience managing a team, sorting and distribution of mail, best practice for janitorial services for a large company.

What You'll Do
- direct daily mail room service operations to ensure employees have appropriate equipment and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines;
- perform reconciliation of shipping costs compared to bills; and performs allocations to departments as required;
- probe potential problems and apprise manager of status on resolution of problems or issues, using appropriate Sodexo resource when necessary;
- supervise day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, assigning and prioritizing activities, and monitoring operating standards.
- manage by providing positive and constructive feedback to employees to reward, coach, correct, and motivate;
- assist in the development of new business service(s) for the client and implements the service program(s);
- ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. certifications, licenses, quality assurance, safety, operations, personnel);
- establish operating standards, implement quality improvements, and communicate them to employees;
- establish a safe work environment for employees by providing safety-related training and equipment maintenance and by ensuring compliance with Sodexo safety and loss prevention programs and with standards and procedures for the handling and storage of hazardous materials and/or waste;
- all other duties as assigned.

What You Bring
- Experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending) services.
- Knowledge of CMMS systems ex. Maximo
- Project and events management experience

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending) services
