Sodexo Live! is currently accepting applications for Cook II at the Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium, Sarasota, Florida
The Cook II position performs as a mid-level short order or grill cook among its peer cook positions. Cook II will assume stations requiring a moderate level of difficulty and will perform responsibilities for food preparation that require a more sophisticated level of detail, experience and expertise than Cook III, but not as complex as Cook I.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Required:
- Flexible working schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to communicate well with direct supervisors, clients, and other staff.
- Prepare and coordinate orders to ensure they are cooked in a timely, accurate, consistent and quality manner.
- Have a working knowledge of all culinary equipment.
- Serve Safe Certification required.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently.
- 1 year experience in food preparation in a fast-paced environment.
- Comply with Health Department regulations and requirements, as well as Sodexo Live's standards for sanitation and safe food handling.
NOTE: Other requirements will be discussed during the interview.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00
