Sodexo is seeking an experienced General Manager 6 - Food and Nutrition Services to lead daily operations for our food team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center located in Washington, DC.
MedStar Health's patient-first philosophy combines care, compassion and clinical excellence with an emphasis on customer service. This is a 900 bed hospital where the GM will lead the entire Food & Nutrition operations including patient meal services, retail, doctors lounge and catering.
Sodexo offers a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. What You Bring
- Strong Operations, Finance, Patient, Retail, and Client Relations are essential for success in this role.
- A true commitment to Nursing Relationships and the Patient Experience is needed.
- Staff development, engagement, and understanding of regulatory compliance in DC a plus.
- A work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively.
- General Manager Food & Nutrition leadership experience in a healthcare environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service.
