Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 4 - Food for MelroseWakefield Hospital located in Melrose, MA. In this role you will provide leadership and strategic direction for the managers on your team, and be responsible for the food, retail, patient services, and catering.
MelroseWakefield Healthcare is a coordinated system of hospitals, physician practices and community-based services providing care for communities throughout north suburban Boston. They are distinguished by the range of clinical care and services they provide locally for the continuum of care in clinical collaboration with Tufts Medical Center. What You'll Do
- direct all contract management and food and nutrition services
- deliver high quality food services including retail, catering and patient meal management operations
- focus on developing efficiences and drive growth for the accountp
- plan and supervise special functions
- maintain cash control and payroll records
- lead training and development of all staff
- ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance

What You Bring
- prior management experience, preferably within healthcare
- demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
- a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively
- prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
