Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 3 for Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS. The Food Operations Manager will manage food operations including patient dining, retail food service and catering. The Food Operations Manager will be hands-on with the team, assist with financials, and will collaborate with other leaders of the department and hospital.
What You'll Do
- motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff
- help oversee ordering, procurement, and inventories
- ensure food and physical safety programs and standards are followed
- assist with General Manager with strategic duties (financials, budgets, procurement, purchasing, etc.)
- maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in place.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
