Sodexo is seeking an experienced Food Operations Manager 3- Patient Services to support Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA. Virginia Hospital Center is a 453 bed teaching facility located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. It is a not-for-profit hospital recognized for its quality of care and its designation as a Magnet® hospital.
What You'll Do
This role will support a team of 75 employees and will be a trusted advisor that's central to the client partnership. The lead candidate should have experience in patient services and retail operations. The role will have direct accountability for operational excellence - achieved by delivering on our service commitments that are: Predictable, Reliable, and Repeatable.

What You Bring
- have oversight of day-to-day patient services operations;
- successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate supervisors and frontline staff;
- deliver high quality food services in patient meal management operations
- achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
- develop and maintain client and customer relationships
- develop strategic plans
- ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance;
- have daily interaction with patients, their families and clinical team to ensure patient satisfaction;
- create a positive environment;
- ensure Sodexo standards are met.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
