Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for Vidant Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro, NC. Vidant Edgecombe Hospital has a total of 117 beds. This includes 101 general acute care beds and 16 rehabilitation beds. The hospital also has a 10-room Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU), 2 procedure rooms, and 4 Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) bays

What You'll Do
- be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
- ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
- have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
- ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
- have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

What You Bring
- have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
- have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
- Comfortable navigating computer systems
- can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
- have an optimistic attitude with an enthusiastic and energetic personality.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
