Role Overview

Sodexo is hiring our Facilities Engineering Operations Manager 1 - Auxiliary Manager, for Beaufort County K-12 Schools in South Carolina . This role will be the face of Sodexo with our client in our Directors Absence, Professional Polish, executive presence, and solid understanding of the nuances of integrated facilities management are required. Our leader will mentor and train our team with expertise in mechanical and building engineering. Typically working 7:00 - 5:00 M-F, our successful candidate will be responsible for training and safety of our team of ~55 full-time employees across the district, provide daily updates on critical facilities information and proactive planning and have responsibility for inventory with the warehouse, technicians for refrigeration, locksmith departments.This is a potential sale and contingent offers will be made.

What You'll Do

  • Manage Auxiliary Services, with excellent knowledge and hands on experience in all skilled trades, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, repairs
  • Excellent command of CMMS including Maximo
  • Report to the Client in our Director's Absence

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services
