Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Environmental Services/Custodial Operations Manager to lead custodial operations at a 4.5 million sq. ft. GMP manufacturing site in Inwood, West Virginia. This on-site role oversees 35 frontline staff and includes training, scheduling and daily task management. Responsibilities cover EVS oversight and general cleaning (restrooms, break rooms, floors, carpets, windows) as well as leading projects in both common and manufacturing areas.

What You'll Do

  • Direct daily custodial operations, ensuring employees have the necessary equipment and resources to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Maintain housekeeping and custodial services to meet standards and contractual requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Sodexo/client policies (e.g., quality assurance, safety, operations).
  • Foster a safe work environment by ensuring equipment safety, compliance with safety programs, and providing ongoing safety training.
  • Conduct regular inspections of office spaces, restrooms, general areas, and some manufacturing spaces.
  • Oversee inventory, manage weekly schedules, and ensure proper staffing while supporting the hiring, training, and development of new staff

What You Bring

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years minimum experience managing or leading a team.
  • Prior experience in Environmental Services or housekeeping.
  • Results-driven with a focus on enhancing employee engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions for the organization.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in relevant software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
