Role Overview

The Good Eating Company, you'll be at the forefront of culinary excellence, curating upscale hospitality experiences that delight our discerning clientele.

The Good Eating Company is looking for a Director of Retail to join our team. The Director of Retail will be responsible for supporting culinary innovation, development, and upholding brand standards. This position will serve as a subject matter expert and support all food and culinary operations across multi-client sites

This person will have prior experience managing a hospitality and culinary driven operation with proven results. Responsibilities include area culinary leadership, menu development, hands on cooking, culinary system, opening new business, cost management, training of kitchen staff and food safety programs. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, an eye for restaurant quality food, and a high level of organization. A strong focus in customer service, culinary expertise, and attention to detail are key in our selection process.

  • Strong culinary experience leading teams, coordinating resources
  • Extremely organized and proficient with Microsoft office products like excel, word and PP
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Passion for food, knowledge of trends, seasonality, local sustainable
  • High technical delivery standards
  • Real team builder, someone who can bring people together
  • Ability to develop people and talent
  • Thoughts and suggestions on how to recruit new chefs and higher levels of talent
  • Good presentation skills, I need to be able to have them support new sale presentations
  • Accountability, ability to lead and hold others accountable

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 5 Years
