Director, Construction Management
Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Construction Management to lead the nationwide mobilization and execution of multiple construction projects across the Corporate Services portfolio. This senior leader will be responsible for developing and implementing the construction management program from the ground up-defining processes, establishing governance, identifying and deploying project management teams, and selecting tools and systems to drive operational excellence.
The Director will oversee all aspects of planning, design, and construction for multiple concurrent projects, ensuring seamless coordination, financial integrity, and alignment with client objectives. This role demands a proven leader with extensive experience in large-scale mobilizations, multi-site construction delivery, and strategic program development. The ideal candidate will bring a strong business acumen, deep technical expertise, and a commitment to quality, safety, and performance excellence while guiding teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead national construction mobilization efforts across multiple sites, establishing scalable frameworks for planning, design, execution, and closeout to ensure consistent project excellence nationwide.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive construction management program, including processes, governance models, financial controls, and technology tools that drive efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
- Build, mentor, and oversee a high-performing team of project managers and support staff, aligning talent and resources with strategic business goals and client priorities.
- Own financial strategy and performance, developing project budgets, forecasts, and reporting models that optimize cost, mitigate risk, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Serve as the strategic liaison between corporate leadership, clients, and field operations, ensuring all projects align with client vision, corporate standards, regulatory compliance, and safety excellence.

What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field - or equivalent combination of education and extensive industry experience.
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in construction management, with demonstrated success overseeing large-scale, multi-site, or national programs from planning through completion.
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing construction processes, financial models, and project management frameworks that drive operational excellence and efficiency.
- Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to manage complex budgets, forecasts, and reporting while balancing cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and inspire high-performing teams and foster strong client partnerships across diverse geographies.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Functional Experience - 7 years in construction or related field
Minimum Management Experience - 7 years supervisory experience
