Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a Catering Manager 4 to join our team at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston MA.

Dana Farber Cancer Institute since its founding in 1947, has been committed to providing adults and children with cancer with the best treatment available today while developing tomorrow's cures through cutting-edge research.

The Catering Manager oversees all catering for Dana Farber. The catering services we provide range from patient nutrition/drop off catering to high-end events from cocktail receptions, philanthropy events and fundraisers/donor receptions.

Incentives

Predominately a M-F Day schedule, will have the ability to flex their schedule to accommodate events. Some evenings, very rare weekends

What You'll Do

  • Detailing to execution of high end events
  • Overseeing drop off catering: ensuring on time catering deliveries
  • Managing a team of 5 non-union hourly employees to include a catering supervisor
  • Working with our Executive Chef on catering menus
  • Vendor relations
  • Managing room logistics for events
  • Interacting with our clients; event negotiations

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in catering, food production, or food service management or a related field
