We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager,Camera and Sensing Hardware to join the Snap Lab team!

What you’ll do:

  • Manage complex component development from concept to production

  • Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams to design camera and sensing modules with a focus on manufacturability

  • Supervise contract manufacturers to improve efficiency, yields, failure analysis, and overall operational excellence

  • Define build plans and schedules for subcomponent suppliers and module integrators and drive on-time delivery of sensing modules

  • Audit suppliers to ensure they are meeting Snap specs and requirements

  • Investigate and develop component and manufacturing processes

  • Drive failure analysis efforts and integrate learnings into future design iterations

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong program management skills including excellent communication, coordination, and documentation

  • Deep experience with camera and sensing manufacturing and testing processes

  • Ability to identify and mitigate risk during new development and manufacturing

  • Capable of applying engineering principles to solve problems

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues

  • Ability to thrive with rapidly changing or ambiguous requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in optical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or related field

  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, process development, design, and/or program management of consumer electronic sensing technologies

  • Experience with process control and statistical analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD specializing in optical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or related field

  • Experience in process development for camera or sensing module assembly

For Colorado Based Applicants:

  • The minimum target salary for this position is $165,000
  • This position is eligible for a discretionary performance award
  • This position is eligible to receive ongoing equity grants
