Software Engineer in Test, 3+ Years Experience

We’re looking for a Software Engineer In Test to join our Augmented Reality team.

What you’ll do:

• Drive automation strategy across projects. Can lead automation framework design & implementation.

• Impact engineering team with testing-friendly architects during feature design and implementation. 

• Monitoring and debug failed automation test cases through the system. Can design resilient automation test cases to decrease flakiness.

• Participate in the PR review cycle and be able to provide valid comments and feedback.

• Advocate for and apply best practices when it comes to availability, scalability, operational excellence, and cost management.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong automation skills and hands-on experiences on native apps  [iOS, Android], or web application automation testing.

• Understanding of software quality control paradigms and testing pyramids

• Strong knowledge in Continuous Integration and Continuous delivery

• Familiar with SQL or NoSQL database and able to fluently use complex queries to debug or report by collecting data

• Proficiency in at least one of the programming languages: Javascript, Typescript, Html, Kolin, Java, Python, C, Objective-C, and/or Swift

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in a technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of experience

• 3+ years of industry software development experience or automation testing experience in web applications or mobile apps.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with software automation tools, such as xcuitest for iOS automation or espresso for Android. 

• Strong self-learner, always motivated to pursue better solutions.
