Software Engineer, Backend

We’re looking for Software Engineers to join our Augmented Reality team located in Herzliya. In this role, You will help build a platform that powers creative experiences in augmented reality. You will own and drive high-level features from planning through design and implementation, be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, and solve complex technical problems that will impact millions of Snapchat users daily.

What you’ll do:
Collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams to bring product ideas to life.
Build robust, lasting, and scalable infrastructure that is extensible, reusable and meets desired architectural and product objectives.
Own and drive high-level features from planning through implementation, be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, and solve complex technical challenges.
Iterate quickly without compromising quality.
Work across teams to understand product requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver the solutions needed to build innovative products.
Perform reviews and ensure exceptional cloud platform quality.
Mentor junior engineers to maintain the highest level of engineering for a team.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of practical application of computer science and engineering fundamentals to the design and production of a software product.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Ability to work with other engineering teams across a company.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience.
3+ years of software development experience
Experience with coding in Go or Python
Experience in building scalable backend APIs
Experience with AWS and Google Cloud
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with terraform
Experience working with ML and data pipelines
