Senior Manager, Sales (Gov/Health)

We're looking for a Senior Manager to lead the Health & Government team on our Enterprise Sales team. As a senior leader on the Enterprise Sales team, you will manage a group of categories and subcategories, including Pharmaceutical, OTC, Government, Advocacy and Political sectors. You will need to have natural leadership skills; the ability to coach, develop, and challenge your direct reports; and strong senior level client-facing skills. You should have a deep understanding of the performance of top accounts at Snap and a point of view on how they would accelerate growth in their vertical over the next 12-24 months. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the Health and Government verticals and/ or experience in highly regulated environments.

What you'll do:

  • Lead a high-performing sales team with an emphasis on revenue growth stemming from brand building, direct response, sponsorships and strategic partnerships within the Pharmaceutical, OTC, Government, Advocacy and Political sectors.

  • Develop and operationalize a team strategy that leads to continuous revenue acceleration year over year and aligns with Snap’s mission and goals.

  • Understand broad vertical trends and translate into strategic areas and opportunities to drive growth of the business

  • Build and manage relationships with key senior clients and industry leaders.

  • Collaborate with cross functional leadership on strategic initiatives to ensure advertiser health and depth across key lines of business.

  • Define, execute, and deliver KPI-driven sales management strategies

  • Coach, mentor and help grow high performers to drive cross-company collaboration and impact beyond achievement to quota 

  • Create an inclusive, diverse, empathetic & results driven team culture 

  • Have command of and be responsible for the growth of your vertical at Snap and be able to inform client teams on trends in that vertical


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or equivalent years of experience

  • 7+ years of experience managing a team and managers


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization (internally and externally)

  • Deep understanding of Snap’s ad products, measurement capabilities & our competitors in order to effectively create & manage our go to market strategies.

  • Experience in organization design and an inputs driven approach to sales management.

  • Ability to command the room and facilitate meetings with multiple senior stakeholders.

  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills

  • Track record of recruiting top talent to Snap

  • Can facilitate meetings with multiple senior stakeholders

  • Working effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management 

  • Ability to travel 50%+ of the time

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience in digital media space

  • 5+ years within the Healthcare / RX sectors

  • Pre-existing relationships with marketers & industry thought leaders across verticals (pharmaceutical mainly, government & politics a plus)

  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management
