As a Project Manager on the Marketing team, you will be responsible for project managing all consumer-facing social media marketing workstreams – inclusive of always-on content and community management, social activations for campaigns, cultural and event activations – establishing and owning communications and processes, while exercising project controls.  The Project Manager must plan and demonstrate a cohesive understanding of Social workstream prioritization, deliverables, tasks, dependencies, team resourcing, forecasting and process. In addition, the PM must constantly assess project risks and communicate contingency plans to the necessary stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

  • Create and implement a Social workstream prioritization model across the entire company; helping our teams focus on impactful work and educating XFN teams on how best to work with Social.

  • Establish and own the successful execution of all always-on workstreams and campaigns for the Social team, across 6 Marketing team pods. Your process will address the unique ways of working with each pod and campaign; identifying the model for working with agency partners vs. internal, looking to streamline across pods where possible, managing meetings, review and approval flows, delivery, etc. For larger campaigns or projects you may partner with a Senior team member from each respective Marketing pod to execute but you’ll work towards executing all projects regardless of scope with no oversight.

  • Drive all Social timelines and milestones; taking in XFN inputs to inform the Social workstream calendar, and implementing a disciplined exec review cadence.

  • Facilitate paid social workflow and delivery between our media agency and our internal organic Social team

  • Communicate clear ways of working and process expectations with all members of the team, including XFN partners, and executives throughout the duration of your projects.

  • Develop and own accurate project documentation, including timelines and scoping documents.

  • Be able to solve most project level issues with no oversight, for larger scale issues you will bring proposed solutions but work with more senior team members to help solve.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Hands-on experience driving social media/always-on workstreams and deliverables

  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple team members across departments (creative teams, leadership/exec team members, engineers, marketers, production)

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Superb attention to detail, good judgement, and listening skills.

  • Awesome attitude and passion for Snap Inc.’s products and creativity.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 4-10 years in the industry or related experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field

Preferred qualifications:

  • High competency and proven track record of project management of large engagements and integrated social media projects.

  • Experience managing a high volume of creative and campaign types in parallel.
